My son also does a modified Driveline program. Basically takes out the pitcher specific drills and replaces them with drills that can be more general. For example, instead of the walking windup he gets in his secondary and I flip plyo balls and he throws it like a throw to second. This also helps with receiving and pop time. There are a couple others that are tough to explain. 

So far my son has only done the on-ramp portion and has not done the Velo training. His arm has gotten noticeably stronger.
