I understand earning a spot on any of these teams is very difficult. I am just CURIOS as to how to get in front of these schools. What are the most effective ways? Attending one of their camps and being a standout?

My son got in front of coaches a few different ways:
1. PG Tourneys & Showcases
2. Arizona Fall Classic
3. JC Scout Days, Pitching, and other JC Coaches
4. HS Coaches
5. A HS Baseball Web Member
My 2018 was only interested in one of these schools. He attended a couple of camps, did PBR showcase at their facility, then stayed in touch by sending emails, videos, and later, texts, outlining his progress. I suspect also that some other coaches, including at least one JUCO and a pitching coach here in town that he worked with reached out to the HC and PC telling them to watch for him, but no one has owned up to that.
Your question is loaded as there is no singular way. It really depends on which P5's you want to get in front of. I see you're from New England area, so are you interested in ACC schools closer to home? PAC12? SEC?
Unless your goal is simply get into a P5, I'd suggest that you do a deeper dive into what you want in a school and narrow your search to those schools that fit your criteria. Big difference between Stanford and Oregon State. Ditto for Vandy & Ole Miss.
Probably best to determine which of three buckets you fit. No doubt P5 talent, can fit on some P5 teams but not all, no chance P5 talent.
Once you narrow your scope and determine where you land in the three buckets, then you will likely be able to ask some more focused questions and get some more directed answers to help.
