Pre-Season Team Capsules

2007 has been a season that was targeted the day this senior class was assembled during their freshman tryouts. The 2007 Lane Tech Indians are coming off of back-to-back city championships and have won 4 of the last 7 CPS title contests. This year’s team is expected to compete for the state title with the senior-laden nucleus that includes 7 of 9 returning starters and the top 3 members of the rotation. Our team has equally important quality baseball players who are focused on getting better as a team everyday and letting their play speak for itself.

Grant Monroe at schaumburg is as good as advertised. I have seen him siince he was 12. Lyons Township is always loaded, casey M.cMurray leads. Clemente and Young wow your team has its hands full.

Clemente Vs Lane the last conference game for both teams. That should be a good one

There is only 1 date that’s circled in red on my calendar this year. There used to be 2 a year but the CPS has decided we can only play once. You know OUR feelings about that. Your future squad is playing lights-out this year and is becoming one of the top programs in the Midwest.
