I usually don't mention it here but I thought Chad's performance yesterday was worthy of a proud parent bragging a little.

Greensboro defeated Roanoke 15-3.

Chad was 4-4, 2 doubles, 4 Rbi's, 1 BB, Scored 4 runs, 1 SB. Big Grin

After dropping the opening game this year GC has won 10 in a row. Big Grin

NCDAD---

So nice to see you on the boards---and so HAPPY for you that things have worked out for Chad at GC!! clap I do remember when we commiserated a couple of short years ago!

Strange, how things work out...an aside to you: My son plays a ML umpire from the Bronx discussing his impact on The Game in a one-act play ("Judgment Call") that opens tonight at JCU...

PLAY BALL! walk

Personally, I think Chad's performance yesterday was worthy of a lot of bragging. Great great day at the ballpark, Proud Papa. Just glad my son wasn't on the hill against that kind of day ...

NCDAD,

Let those buttons burst right off that swelled chest greenjump

I always told kids I coached, celebrate and enjoy when things are good. I used to (still do) get a little peeved when players were not happy when we won (at least outwardly) but mad/sad when we lost or even worse...when we'd win but they didn't play well in their opinion).

Celebrate, exult may it always be so...I've seen amny a parent on this site lament (justifiably so) when the college experience turned sour.
