Agree with ABC. Questions are often focused on the mechanics of the recruiting process. This is important, but you can find that info online if you really look. What would be more interesting to me is what, specifically, these coaches are looking for in evaluating, comparing, and slotting players in each position group... ie pitchers, catchers, MIFs, hitters, corners, etc.
Coaches often answer that with things like character, integrity, and good grades. I don't doubt that this is genuinely important to them, but it's sort of a given in my mind. Obviously they want good character guys and guys without grade issues. My son has strong character and strong grades, but no one is going to recruit him based on this. So what would be interesting to know is A) what are the metrics and measurables that they look for and what is the acceptable or worakble range of these by position/skill set; and B) what advice would they offer HS aged players trying to work their way to the college level... what types of training, instruction, camps, etc would they recommend.
Just a couple of thoughts per your question.
