Are basketball and football scholarships which are full rides signed as four year scholarships, or are they a yearly scholly and need to be redone after each year like baseball?

All athletic scholarships are renewable each year.

So are some academic scholarships... unless by "renewable" you mean "gotta keep your grades up to get the money in years 2-3-4"? I've had kids on academic scholarships, all four were given guarantees of four year money as long as grade standards were met. That's not to say ALL academic scholarships are four year promises, but some are. And as has already been confirmed, NO athletic scholarships are.
