Im an upcoming Junior and i play catcher. I missed all freshman year with a broken ankle and that same injury kept me out of this years play. Will a College still notice me if i dont play HS ball? I play summer leagues every year and im currently on a traveling team. More than likly i will not play school ball since the coach picks his team before the try out even happens. With the situation im in and since i wont play HS ball can i still get noticed? Next year i will be playing on a Traveling team and Legion ball.

Catcher,
Some things about this just don't add up.....you missed your Freshman and Sophomore years of HS baseball because of a broken ankle, yet still managed to play summer and travel ball every year. Thats a strange injury to keep you out of scholastic baseball and a long time not to heal.

Your need to take honest stock of your situation. If your not playing HS ball, its most likely your grades and not your ankle thats keeping you out of the game... Grades dont affect summer and travel ball right?.....

Yes, you can get noticed and recruited without HS ball by playing on a good summer/travel team and showcasing. But you can't do squat if you aren't academically eligable.

Now, Im assumming some info here, but you got to admit this post is at best shaky......take stock in yourself, listen to TR...dont make excuses......try out and make it..... dont look to make excuses for past failures and go for the future.....
