Just thought I'd ask since I think it might be an etiquette issue. My son mentioned to a college coach A ,he was going to attend one of his local games in our area vs. college B. Well he is actively being recruited by both A and B schools. The coach A mentioned he wanted to talk with him after the 1st game (DH) and my concern is what do the other coaches from college B think about that?
Wouldn't that be considered rude? Or is it just competitive edge? Coach A, already stated he would really like my son to attend his college.Coach B pretty close, but not as specific. Both schools have had a very good relationship with my son for over a year, so i don't want to see my son to offend either coach.I'm assuming that if college coach B sees my son at the game, he would also expect him to talk w/them too. (This is the only game in our area.)Any feedback would be great.

baseballfam4 - I think your question is very understandable and many parents/kids worry about things like this.

Talk to both if he can...don't go overboard trying to make it happen though. Every coach understands they are not alone in recruiting kids. It might even be good for them to notice they have a little competition.

Good luck, try not to worry and just have a good time! Wink
I would agree to talk to both of them, we went to a game where a school came from out of state and we had set up a meeting with the out of state school and was playing it loose with the local school who we had been talking to alot and low and behold, the local school mentioned they saw us talking to the other team from the other doug out.

Good Luck and enjoy the ride!
