Replies sorted oldest to newest

As a first baseman you better be big and capable of driving  the ball over the fence. Otherwise colleges place their best hitter at first who didn't win another position. Outside of power hitters and pitchers, the most heavily recruited players are up the middle playera (catchers, shortstops, center fielders). But there's a place in college baseball at some level for everyone with decent talent, desire to earn a spot and intense work ethic.
