Hello,

I will be graduating from my university this December with a BA in History and minor in Sport Marketing. I am curious to know: when applying for coaching jobs, what kind of schools should I target? HS/JuCo/4Year? I have student-assistant experience and have also played college baseball. Also, I am looking forward to attending a graduate school somewhere (online or in person), for a Master's Degree in Sport Management, Coaching, or Marketing. How should that factor into my decision for targeting schools? I live in Texas but would be willing to relocate as a Graduate Assistant with paid tuition or something like that.

Also, as far as a resume goes, what should be in it? Obviously coaching experience... I understand that now only a one page resume is the norm for Human Resources. How in the world do I fit job experience and playing credentials onto one page?

I'm very overwhelmed. ANY advice will definitely be appreciated.

I truthfully feel I could coach at the college level but I highly doubt that I would receive any offers... But I am for sure going to apply to a few JuCos and 4years. My target will be high schools in the Houston and Austin areas. I played second base throughout college with literally a game or two in RF and First Base, along with DHing.

Long term goal is to be within an affiliated professional organization in player development/coaching, if possible. I haven't played professional baseball so it will be very tough to break in to that level of work. I do know that a goal of mine since probably 14 years old is to coach somewhere with a Division I baseball program.
