Bat path. Is this program designed to only fix the bat path or does it work on other mechanics?

You can't develop the ideal barrel path without having other good mechanics. He focuses on the barrel path because the best barrel path is a result of the best mechanics. He's teaching what I consider to be the best mechanics.

I bot it.  For $10 it is fine.  20 drills off the tee.  That's $0.50 per drill.  A short write up and explination about the drill.  Also a video demonsration available.  Nothing really new or drills you can't see anywhere else on the web.  But is is a good, consise write up of of the drills.  On part that is helpful is a chart that matches the swing problem with the drills that may help overcome it.  Like most things I found about 90% agreeable and 10% I have a disagreement with.

As for the Tewks stuff I have looked at his sight and for the life of me I can't figure out what he his talking about half the time.

His stuff requires you to break down your personal guardrails. If you're used to loading up (get the hands and weight back) then swinging, what he says doesn't make sense. His stuff isn't that difficult to figure out, as many dads will attest. I was familiar with the material he presented, but liked it regardless. The eBook explains things pretty well even if you're unfamiliar with them.

I don't have the Tewks book.  Can't decide if it is worth buying.  But reading the posts on his website, I have trouble following them.  He breaks down many clips and and says look a this, but I am not sure I am see the same thing.  I have yet to see a complete outline of his view of the steps of the swing.

I had the same problem understanding exactly what he was saying in the forum postings. The E book does a very nice job of explaining in detail with the help of videos for those who are visual like me. Well worth the $50 IMO.

He's a pretty busy guy, but I have received responses from him regarding emails. Give it a few days. If you're having issues understanding something, PM me. He and I believe in the same set of mechanics, though we describe them a little differently.
