Mainly depends on what level you are talking about.

Are you talking about the Richmond Braves or the Braves Elite.

A lot of folks still don't know the founders of the Richmond Braves organization were brothers. They split. One of them started the Braves Elite. The other stayed with the Richmond Braves. They "merged" with Sportsquest (appeared to be Sportsquest just trying to buy the name and recognition that comes along with it...but who knows) then they severed their relationship recently.

It also depends on what age group? There seems to have been a lot of turnover in the Richmond Braves 14U-16U teams. I do know that their is a 16U Richmond Braves team that is pretty much "based" out of the Charlottsville area.
There was a player from Maryland that played on Keewartson's team last fall and two from Maryland this past summer. More recently, there is 16U Braves North team was formed this fall. I am pretty sure D1Draftable/Braves (17U level) were scheduled to be at a showcase at the Univ. of Maryland this summer or fall. So, yes, there is a Northern Va/MD presence.

The Brave's have been a pretty major player in the mid atlantic for a while now. You'd have to talk with Jeff or Tommy for specifics, but I'm certain they had players from at least 8 states (plus DC) this past summer.

With that in mind, I find it hard to say if they are "creeping out" of any area and into others. Like everyone else, they go where the ball players are.

Many of their fall players can be seen here. Many of their 2012 & 13's that were already signed did not participate.
