redbird, I use RVP HS Coach's Edition. It will come with two different viewers that serve a lot of different functions. I've been experimenting with it and think I'm going to get a lot of use from it. You will need to pay attention to the type of camera you have for that software. In other words, it helps to have a camera with the capability of hooking a firewire cable up to your computer. That is key! I can take a video from our camera, and essentially, click, click click,... and with each click is another view of the hitter. It is amazing. I have done a lot with my girl both pitching and hitting. Keep in mind it is very expensive. I have a laptop and so, I use it everywhere. If you ever want to talk about this, send me an email and I'll send my phone number.

Take care and good luck!
Windows movie maker is free and it works great. If you are trying to make a fancy video you are headed in the wrong direction. You are not making a home movie.
I use it and a Canon video camera hooked up by firewire. WMM allows you to edit the video and do anything you would need to make it quick and easy for a coach to see what he wants. All the noise etc could be added but most coaches do0n't want the garbage added. Keep that for your home movies.

This. It's awesome. Free. Great frame by frame off of a mouse wheel. I'm a big fan. Easier to use the RV Pro, just not as many bells and whistles. But I find once the season starts I ain't got time for bells and whistles.
