Can you please offer your opinion on how many kids move off a roster year to year? Obviously, the seniors, any potential draft picks (do most D1's have boys drafted, if so, an average of how many?) and last but not least, do you count on a certain number of kids either dropping out or transferring each year?
I would appreciate any idea's on the subject as we are evaluating a situation that depends on a certain amount of turn over...6 spots with only two being seniors who graduate and the likelihood of getting to 6!

The question is too broad without knowing the program. In some lower D1's, it can be as few as 7 per year (e.g., the IVY league). In others it can be as high as 20+ (every senior [maybe 2], plus 8 drafted and signed juniors [and draft eligible sophs], plus 8 drafted and signed HS commits, plus those who leave due to grades, dissatisfaction, etc.) You should also find out how many the school is bringing in (HS and JUCOs).

The best way to evaluate your program is look back through the archives and match up rosters year over year. (This assumes that the HC hasn't changed.)
