The top DII in Missouri and one of the best in the nation is the University of Central Missouri. Great campus, great facilities, great coaches and a powerhouse baseball school. Considered one of the "Big 3" schools in Missouri following only MU and Missouri State. Truly considered a baseball powerhouse. Central has a couple of national championships under its belt as well as several top 10 finishes.

Missouri Western, Missouri Southern and Northwest Missouri State always make the MIAA competitive and this conference has Emporia State from the Kansas Side in it as well.

As for the top jucos......Missouri boasts several. As earlier mentioned Maple Woods and Jeffco are consistant regional powers, and Longview won a national championship a couple of years ago. Crowder is always a force, and then there is Meramec, Forest Park, Mineral Area, Three Rivers, Florissant Valley and North Central. All have shown success moving players to the next level, be it NAIA, NCAA DII, NCAA DI and the pro's .

Selecting a Missouri school is not a bad choice, although if you throw Kansas in the mix, the options more than double. Kansas has a ton of powerful juco's as well as NCAA DII Power Emporia State, Pittsburg State, and Fort Hayes State.

Good Luck.
