CC Carroll is pretty tough.
Beenthere, you are correct. Reagan is certainly not taking them lightly. Carroll's catcher was an early signee to Northwestern State and Carroll's ace pitcher, an early signee with A&M-Corpus Christi, holds the citywide record for HR's in a season.
Wish I could be there... Know a lot of those kids, from both teams.

Reagan defeats Corpus Christi Carroll 8-5 in a one-game playoff, advancing to regional quarterfinals.
Reagan LHP Casey Selsor (CG, 7 K's) held Carroll scoreless until the 7th inning. Kudos to gutsy Carroll for never giving up. It was quite a game and that last inning gave a few of us parents and fans near heart attacks in the stands!
