After it happened, I felt sick to my stomach the remainder of the game. It was as hard a line drive as you will ever see. There are many prayers sent out in his direction, and please keep everyone posted as you get information.

OMG... OBN... as you know, I know Jonathan and his mom. PLEASE keep us posted!

They are transferring Jonathan to Parkland for observation due to some bleeding..... He is alert and remembers most of the evening, so that is good... My son just called and said that they have to keep him up all night and that they feel like he will be fine. THANK GOODNESS,,, Scary night for this young man and his family..........and for all of us w/son's that pitch....

Just talked to his mom and there is a quartersized hemotoma and they will do another CAT scan in a few hours to check to see if there is any change. I passed on your thoughts and prayers. This baseball community is a family like no other...

I just read your post this morning. My heart stopped. Sure am glad to hear that things seem to be improving. Please tell Jonathan and his mom that I'm going to be a prayer warrior for them today.

Just finished praying for him. Please continue to update us on his condition.

Talked to his mom early this am, they will do another CAT scan at 12nn, the subhemotoma has not gotten any bigger, that is good news, they are doing a great job with him and they just want to keep him in observation. May be released today or tomorrow.......

I have told his mom about this post and this community and I know she appreciates your thoughts and prayers.....THANK YOU....

Jonathon has had the season of his career and has a bright future ahead in baseball we have had much success as a team with him this year and we know there is nothing but success ahead of him.

We all look forward to him being back with the team ASAP.......
