Are all scholastic merit scholarships given a student athlete funded from the school's baseball scholarship money, or does this vary by school or division?
Welcome to the site.......scholastic money is seperate from athletic.....in many cases a player can receive more in scholastic funds than athletic......
D3's have no NCAA scholarship funds, and scholarships are all merit/academic.
Thanks for the info. So if I understand this, any academic merit scholarships given to an athlete have no bearing on the 11.7 baseball scholarship monies for a D-1 school. Is that a true statement?
Most colleges have a thread on their sites listing some of the academic/merit scholarships available....
.....and in previous threads it has been pointed out that some schools don't allow academic/merit money if you are receiving athletic money....but from what I have read from other posters....these schools are far and few between.....
