I use ScorePad for the Palm OS by Alegis Software. This is a very good scoring application with a very nice companion PC application for doing game summaries, detailed stats, spray charts, and will even generate fully linked web pages for posting to a web site.

There was a good discussion on this and other scoring applications a couple months back here in the General Items Forum, but for some reason my search can't find it. Where did it go?

I used the Palm application of Turbostats (Scorekeeper) for a short period but reverted back to the old "paper book" during the games and would input from the book into the turbostats program later. The book is helpful when the coach wants to exchange information with another coach about previous games.

I have used ScorePad for a few years and like it the best. Last fall while scoring games with my pda, I updated the desktop companion program on my laptop every 45 seconds via bluetooth. This enabled the coaches and players to view detailed info of previous atbats including detailed pitching sequences in the dugout during the game. With the laptop or pda you can also view past games.

The people at ScorePad will be enhancing their desktop version this year.
