Congrats to Liberty on winning the Denton Ryan tournament for the 2nd time in 3 years! Coach Johnny Isom is one of the best around, regardless of classification. He has one of the most consistent small-school programs in the state of Texas.

Rock Hardball Classic

Game 4: Southlake Carroll over Austin HS 3-2

Game 5: Brenham over Southlake Carroll 7-6

In the final game both teams made mistakes typical of early season baseball. The game was back and forth with SLC taking a 6-5 lead into the 6th. Brenham scored 2 in the top of the 6th to take the lead and SLC could not get a run across in the bottom half with runners on 1st and 3rd with 1 out. There was no score by either team in the 7th.

Some good competition down in Round Rock. SLC finished the tourney 4-1.

PW played The Woodlands College Park not The Woodlands HS, two different schools.

Mom47, I was only able to make it out to the Boyd-Wylie game last night. How did the Plano West-Plano game turn out yesterday?

West lost 11-1

After the Woodland game we ran out of pitching. Plano West lost to Plano 11-1.
