I hate to use the term "post steriod" era but I am intrigued by the less-than-pumped baseball players out there who seem to be pretty good players.

Biggerpapi ...

It's sweet to see the game played more like it shoud be with more natural physiques.

Has anyone checked to see if there are fewer homeruns this season and last (since the stronger rules came out)?

I read a funny quote in our paper last week ... Ozzie Guillian, mgr of the White Sox after intentionally walking Dustin Pedroia ... "I can't believe I just intentionally walked a jockey." I had not realized how 'slight of build' Dustin was before reading that. Too funny (and no offense intended to any jockeys we may have on the HSBBW rolls ...)

Hunter Pence is listed at 6'4" 220#. I wouldn't have called that scrawny either but he sure looks like it on TV.
My son is a sophomore and is 5'7" and 135lbs. I have been hoping he would put on some weight.

My dad recently remided me I was 5'11" 145lbs when I graduated from HS. (Well I am significantly heavier now 6'1" 210)

I realized between his eating and lifting he will be well ahead me at 18 from where he is now at 15.

I didn't lift a weight until I was 19 yrs old. He on the other hand is pretty agressesive in the gym.

Alexi Ramirez, Chicago White Sox

Hunter Pence, Houston Astros

Any others you see out there?

Who was the brilliant poster that mentioned Alexi Ramirez in this thread?

Did you see that grand slam yesterday? That gives him four in his rookie season. Amazing!
