I figured there would be a snowball effect once the NBA suspended play. Colleges are a business. They don’t want to get sued and get bad publicity. They play CYA. Colleges don’t want to end up in court facing, “The NBA knew enough to shut down. Why didn’t you?”

As soon as the NBA announced their shutdown the NHL announced they would be meeting today on what to do. I figure all of college sports are shut down within a week.

Every D1 program is suspended for 30 days. MLB cancelled spring training.

I received text from son on his way to VA. Things changed by the time they landed. But I still think it's still until further notice.

MLB supposed to announce something tomorrow (Friday).
