I don't know what schools you are looking at, but if your son is a strong student, and being that you are in Eastern PA, you could always check out the Princeton Advanced Baseball Camp in August at Princeton University. There is a mix of mostly D1 and some D3 schools...Princeton, Navy, Bucknell, Brown were some of the D1 schools and F&M, Haverford, Dickinson were D3's that were there. All schools there would be strong academically.

My son had a great time there and ended up being recruited from there. There is a lot of exposure while there...four days, skills in the mornings, games in afternoons and evenings. Housing in dorms, meals provided and very reasonable cost. It was around $550 last year, I believe.
Back from TPX in Iowa this past weekend. About 36 players there with 7 colleges represented. Kids got some solid instruction time because of the numbers. There was a lot of one-on-one instruction and communication. Son had a blast and came away thinking about schools he had not considered before. He is following up emailing the coaches. It was a good weekend well spent for a 2012.
