I would recommend going to a college camp this summer which also has a showcase. Choose a college that your son may be interested in. My son went to one last summer in South Alabama after his freshman year and received a recruiting questionnaire earlier this year. We went to the camp basically just for the experience and he really enjoyed it. All campers did not receive a questionnaire. A college camp with a showcase is much better and more economical than a showcase only event, in my opinion. We were going to attend a showcase event last year, but the cost for the two day event was almost twice as much as a four day college camp with a showcase, and it included housing for him. You want him to be seen by the coaches at a college he is interested in, too. Registration for summer camps has already started at some colleges, so go to the web-sites and look for a good fit. Good Luck!
