My son is a 2014 Pitcher only with good gpa 3.7 nonweighted 4.0 weighted/sat 1900 which is the best showcase for him for the money in California or west coast we don't want to travel too far for a showcase. He is 6'6" 185 and has just gotten back into baseball this year he pitched on varsity did decent at small school for not throwing at all for 5 years he was a very good pitcher when he was younger but got really into basketball now back to baseball full time velocity is about 77 and getting stronger each time out he has good mechanics and is working with a pitching coach. Based on his height and build he has great potential will coaches see that at a camp/showcase and take a flier. Where would be best camp to go to get noticied

He is likely DIII at that velocity depending on how he develops. Headfirst or Stanford Camp would be good targets. There are some other high academic events around if you look around. I think it is too late for Stanford. Arizona Fall Classic and Academic game a must this fall.
He is not on a team for the summer how do we get into the Arizona fall classic and academic game?
6'6"...Good advice here so far. Stanford camp is an invite only, but I'm sure there is still a chance to get him in. 2013 attended last year, had a good experience and had exposure. At 6'6" your son will get looks just based projectable size. However, most Stanford camp attendees, are all big and throw 90 plus. Beside the camps listed above, I would suggest Showball Showcase at Occidental College in LA.Good mix of 30 RC's that watch every game and player.
Get him to a PG Showcase to get rated and lastly, get him on a high profile travel team. There are a ton of real good programs in SoCal.
Headfirst has a high academic showcase in California. Fenwaysouth has had some experience with this group (on the east coast), so you may want to contact him. Here is the link to the CA venue:
