I moved to florida from georgia and I have to be honest with you baseball in florida is cut throat. I thought we had problems in ga. but what I am seeing here is some serious negative baseball.

In my time here I have been contacted by several teams one team has never seen my son play but they called me and wanted me to join them and make a payment at that momment??? I have heard negative recruiting from one team to another.

But what I saw the most was multiple teams claiming that they helped the same player on their website. I did my homework and some teams even claim they helped a player when the player hasn't played for them in years or just played one event in the past year.

WOW my friends I thought we had it bad in Ga. but Florida takes the cake.

hahaha I see you again 2011-Grad

yeah my friend its bad here I was called by an organization from south florida three weeks ago and they gave their rankings, national rankings and told me how much they won in the two year of existance and how many rings they got and then when I began talking about other programs they began to bad mouth the other programs, this team is no good, that team doesnt practice, that team is going down hill and i will quote that coach (we are the best ranked program in south florida.)

I just told the coach thank you but honestly im not interested. I couldn't believe how much **** they talked and the other team was even worse my god oh we're going a new directions with new management and all this spilliage wowowowowow my friend its bad.

I only had two good conversation with two programs and they never talked bad about any other organization they actually said good things about every other organization when those same organizations were bad mouthing these programs!!

right now im new here so I am weighing my options but if it continues this way I think im moving back to georgia for the summer my parents still live their hahahah

This is normal. I talked with guys in charge of two programs. While they respect each other they were taking credit for the same players. The players were on one team in the summer and the other in the fall.

I asked a friend from where I grew up, with a son on the alumni list why his son played for a team so far away his response was, "They saw him at one PG event and asked him to catch for them in two other events. He's never been to their facility."

The bottom line is a player with the help of parents has to figure out which situation is best for him. It could be about where the team plays. It could be about what contacts the team has.
