Notice some showcase teams playing jucos this fall. How common is this? Seems like it is a great way for more regional teams to get there players exposure and for the National teams to compete against college players and prep for Jupiter

Very common in Texas,Oklahoma,Kansas & Missouri. Don’t know about other regions.
My son's fall team (18U in Arizona) is playing a combination of showcase tournaments and Juco scrimmages.
Also done in southern OH near Ky, IN borders.
Up until this year, our HS team played JUCOs in the Fall. Good for everyone.
In the 1980's our Cubs scout team, including three MLB players and HS players played Sac City College, Modesto JC during the Fall season. Games were 16-18 innings. A "great" experience for our young players. From these games the Area Code games were created.
