Signs of spring

I just noticed my first signs of spring. My son has an excitement in his voice that only baseball can bring out (started practice last Sunday). I saw my first buttercup this morning and I passed a sign at a local sporting goods store that sums it up: “Sign up here for Dixie Youth baseball”. I'm seeing a few buds on the Saucer Magnolia in the front yard. Ain’t it great? For those up North I feel for you. For those in Florida and California I wish you could experience a bit of winter so you can appreciate the springtime.
