SLC & Marcus

No tie between Marcus and SLC...SLC won last night over LHS to go 8-7 in district. Marcus lost according to DMN leaving them at 7-8 in district. If both teams would have finished with the same district record, SLC held the tiebreaker vs Marcus as SLC won the season series 2 games to 1. SLC actually finished tied for 2nd in the district with Coppell at 8-7...I think (there were conflicting reports about Coppell's game vs LHS earlier this week). Coppell won the season series 2-1 vs SLC thus getting the 2nd seed. Seeds are as follows:

1) Flower Mound
2) Coppell
3) Southlake Carroll
4) Marcus

So Funnelcakes, not so much, after all.

All5tools ... what happened...weren't you gonna rescue this thing?

longballs...you're not going to get to keep saying "just riding the coat tails" over and over and over. He's not even getting that done.

So does Marcus have to move down to 4A status for losing to Hebron right before the playoffs?

I really can't make up my mind. It's so easy to get a rise out of anyone from Flower Mound, that I'm getting addicted. That last nanny-boo-boo fight over who's got the best vandals in FloMo was golden.

Wow, let me take a minute to eat these words. FD swept Colleyville in two games. How about that.

Xgirl- I don't think I can get on this bandwagon - I just got run over by it.

Pretty impressive.

Look's as though the boys at Marcus want to send their coach out on a winning note....they could have easily laid an egg after hearing he was stepping down. Hats off to the players who will have to embrace another new coach/system next year. Hopefully he will have more than a two year stint, because success at the school means nothing.
