Wow, two young pitchers dualing it out.

I voted Twins for Julie.

I voted for the Twins because I feel they are the better team. But we all know that does not mean they will be the better team tonight. It looks like its going to come down to whos bull pen pitches the best tonight. Great throw by Griffey to nail the runner at the plate. Great game so far.

You might say they did.

The Twins and White Sox played each other 19 games this year. The home team was 16-3 in those games!

It seems like something other than a coin flip should determine where a do or die one game playoff is played. Especially after a 162 game schedule.

Home field advantage sure seemed to be everything between these two teams this season, didn't it?

What a great pitchers' battle though! Fantastic job by the Twins' rookie Nick Blackburn who gave up only 1 run, while 23-yr-old John Danks for the Sox pitched 8 shutout innings and completely shut down our best hitters, Morneau and Mauer.

There's always next year!

Okay, now I have to adopt a couple of the playoff teams...I'm thinking White Sox vs. Phillies in the World Series.

Interesting that the last out was made on a diving catch in CF -- by a defensive replacement for Junior!

Oh, well, at least he won't end up like Buckner, a Gold Glover remembered only for the play he DIDN'T make!

Home field advantage is so huge in a game. I was listening to ESPN, I am not sure what the record was, but in these situations, last 10 games with the best record should be the factor.

This is really hard to predict, but I am going to root for the Rays because they are a Florida team, but I am thinking a Cubs/Red Sox series this year and that might depend on Beckett. Red Sox have the experience of players repeating, a big advantage.
