I know it's really early, but who are the odds on favorites to go to the state baseball finals from each region in 5A and 4A? By the way Hello everyone!!!!

You're right it is very early but I will throw my guess for 4A in there.
Region 1 - Denton Ryan
(would have to contend with Denton, FW Arlington Heights, Birdville, Fossil Ridge, Canyon Randall, Lubbock Estacado and Wolfforth Friendship)
Region 2 - Mesquite Poteet
(would have to contend with HP, Forney, McKinney North, McKinney and Waxahachie)
Region 3 - Barbers Hill or Brenham
(I am not very familiar with this region but you have the Austin and Houston schools which are always tough)
Region 4 - CC Moody
(This is a very tough region with CC Calallen, Austin Lake Travis, New Braunfels Canyon and all the San Antonio schools)
I am sure that I may have left some very good teams off that I am not aware of. No offense intended.

Just looking at those teams you listed makes you realize what a tough road it really is to get to state finals. Especially when you start factoring in tired kids and late season injuries.

Yes, all the Regions look really tough. It sure will be a lot of fun for the boys trying to get there!!
We do have some great baseball here in Texas. Too bad there is not another level beyond state. I would like to see how Texas HS teams stack up against some of those Florida and Cali teams.
