So heres the dilema,
Is it better to play on a summer baseball team after the highschool season, or just fill up your summer with the one week overnight camps that alot of colleges offer (I'd go to at least 6 different ones- ie, 6 weeks at 6 different colleges). Obviously, the camps offer direct exposure to the college coaches, but what would you tell them when they asked you where you play summer ball?

No joke, this is a real life crisis! jk.

GreeningJ,

It sounds from this post and others that you are very serious in your quest. Good for you! That kind of commitment and dedication will work to your benefit.

Going to six different college camps will gain you a little bit of exposure (to six programs), not to mention costing you a small fortune. You would be much better off following Justbaseball's advice, and involving with the best summer/travel program you are able to find. I think it is safe to say, that a good travel team will have exposure to dozens of college programs as the coaches attend the tournaments to scout players.

Good luck with your quest.
