The guy is driving on the sidewalk at 5am and blames it on muscle relaxers.

The dumb thing is drinking while on that type of medication.

It makes me sad because there are a ton of guys out there that really deserve a chance while others get chance after chance and blow it.

Smartest move Valentine made was taking away the alcohol from the clubhouse.

Baseball players drink (and do managers and coaching staff), and they drink alot, whether they be 31 or 25, alcoholism is rampant.

Never understood that with the money these guys are making why they can't or don't take a cab , limo or use a service that caters to DUI'S . Do they just want to show everybody the nice car they drive ? Another waste of talent , but he'll probaly get a few more chances .

You're suggesting an alcoholic can make a rational and responsible decision. Alcoholics are not rational and responsible. They believe they can handle their situation. They are con men who can fool anyone not skilled in detecting their behavior. That is, until they screw up and the problem is obvious.
