I saw that and assumed it was a mistake. LoL
However, looking at the box score from the game, he took the loss 4-3, threw 3 innings, gave up four runs and 4 hits, walked 2 and K'd 2. Possibly a mistake on the leader board? Anyone ever heard of this kid?
Either way, he just probably became the most looked at profile on PG for the day.

Agreed - but I am still going with the typo theory.
Seems like "somebody" may have seen this post. I see no mention of 96 when I click on the above link lol

No, he's listed on today's leader board for the event at 96. It takes a couple weeks or more to show up on his profile.
At the 14U WWBA, a kid on my son's team recorded a 3800 spin rate on a curve. Pretty sure it was scrubbed from the data. Just over 3000 is top curveball spin for an MLB pitcher.

Just confirmed that it was a typo. Source said maybe 66 or 69 was the proper number.
Thats a heck of a typo. Kid almost got a 96 posted to his profile. Can you imagine his surprise in 2-3 weeks when it would have been updated! Haha.

Agreed!
He's from Georgia. The secret is grits.
I know that team, it was likely a 69 and got transposed to 96. Still, he's a young 15 year old LHP that can touch 70...not too shabby, good for him!
