TWC has consistently fielded one of the better NAIA teams in the South. They play a competitive schedule and have won or contended for their conference championship in recent years. When you talk about the top NAIA programs in Tennessee, they at least deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Lee and Cumberland.

You often see the starting lineup comprised of mostly upperclassmen. They usually have quite a few transfers. Their home ballpark is very hitter friendly, and they recruit to that. If they've had an Achilles heel recently it would be in having enough pitching depth at the end of the year to make it through post-season.

They generally play a competitive out of conference schedule. Their league is top-heavy, with 5 or 6 programs that usually contend.

I don't know Coach Brewer personally, but he seems to be a decent guy.
