I would like to thank the persons responsible for this website. One year ago my son was an incoming HS freshman and I knew nothing about how to get him opportunities at the next level. Since I found this website I have got numerous questions answered, talked to parents that I have met on this website that have been through the process, and I have taken that advice and my son has already reaped excellant results.

The first piece of advice that my son and I took was to get into a top organization. Initially we were going to stay with lesser organization for a year or two, but the advice we got here changed our minds. As a result, my son was able to play for people that recognized talent, moved him up in organization, and contacted interested parties on his behalf.

In the Fall we went to a few other events that we heard about on this website, which opened up other doors. Now, going into his sophmore year, my son has already been informed through his coaches that some D1 programs are already interested, and that some local pro scouts have him on radar.

The best part about all this is I think we now know how to handle things. We know to not take first offers, to look at issues such as good fit, to narrow list of colleges, to make personal contact with coaches, and how to condition yourself properly. Most of all, we are confident that my son is on the right track to get the opportunities he deserves based on whatever ability he can display to coaches and scouts. That information is priceless.

Thank you all for your help. I know I will return the favor as much as I can in the future.

Aleebaba, good to hear things are working out thanks to this website and welcome to HSBBweb.

Like owning a fine work of art, know your son's value in the baseball world. If an offer is considerably higher than others, beware, do your homework and seek out previous players/parents opinions.

Never discount a JC program as many are run better than some D1 programs, this coming from experience.

Best wishes,
