Five local players nominated for elite baseball game

WHARTON, NJ – Irving pitcher Blake Beavan, Prestonwood catcher Cameron Rupp, Duncanville outfielder/shortstop Joseph Leftridge and Coppell's Jonathan Kaskow, a first baseman/third baseman and pitcher Cole Green have been nominated to play in the The All-American Baseball Game presented by PlayStation.

The event showcases America’s top prep baseball players. It will be played on at 9 p.m. June 4, 2007 at Isotopes Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There will be a live broadcast on the Fox Sports Network.

The players are five of 100 nominees being considered for final selection to play in this year’s contest.

Condratulations to these fine north Texas boys!!!
