There are many reasons why those of us who coach do it---today was one reason---Randy Johnson got his 300th victory and the save went to Brian wilson from New Hamshire----Brian played with us when he was a soph/junior in HS and I remember he and other members of the team sleeping on the floor of our home in between stops in our game schedule

Fun to see him part of baseball history

One of the joys of the game--

Brian Wilson from New Hampshire

Is the real deal for sure TR.
He has seemed to settle into that closer role real well.

I want to give a shout out for Vinnie Mazzaro from New Jersey.
Made his rookie debut for the Oakland Athletics.
This young man has a great family and I know they were just busting at the seems with pride for Vin.
I had the pleasure of hosting Vin for almost a full minor league season. You could not ask for a nicer young man.
Oh ya did I tell you he can pitch.

TR,
Wilson is a beast, as a Giants, fan it's been fun to watch him step into the roll as a closer. Today's game was great for the East Bay area with Randy Johnson growing up in Livermore and now playing with the Giants.
Only one thing about Wilson, I wish he could get some more 1,2,3 shut down innings, its like he likes to load the bases and than blow out the last hitter. I am getting to old and gray for that.
Congrats to Randy and Brian.
