Man that is a bummer, I am so sorry for you and your son, that really stinks.

I also like the others am very sad to hear this. I can speak from experience the let down you are experiencing to a degree.

But with your son being a Senior I would imagine this young man has encountered many ups and downs on various levels his past 3 years of college ball. During this time he will reflect on those times and determine to himself how to pull himself up by the boot straps and forge on.

I think you'll be surprised at his resolve on his will and determination to press on. He's a much stronger young man today for what all he's been through and even this set back will cause him to look deep within himself.

Keep your head up. And watch the young man you've raised step forward and prove you were right all along.

I think we all feel the pain when this happens to one of our HSBBW friends. I know I do. Hang in there.

I am so sorry to hear this news. I'm sure it came as a surprise. But like others have said, he's almost got his Bachelor's and the rest of his life opening up before his very eyes. It'll all be good!

I can only imagine how you feel right now. Maybe it is a blessing in disguise. What really surprised me is the part of being cut as a Senior. I know you will enlighten us more once the dust settles. We wish your son and your family well during these tough times.

That's got to be tough. I suspect many of us would be interested in how he (and you) handle the transition. Eventually we will all be there, for one reason or the other.

I know this kid.was one of the best atletes from our area.I just do not beleive these coaches should be able to do that to a senior.The kid cant go anywhere else, just really is a very sad situation.

He has good stuff and had a very respectable ERA last year with a good amount of innings at 41!
