Zach threw a perfect game in 6 innings and had around 10Ks. Did not throw a first pitch ball until the 4th inning. I hope this kid gets POTW consideration because he's been very steady for us through some otherwise inconsistent play this year.

Was a very exciting game with a great end. Cedar Hill had a 6-4 lead going to the bottom of 7th and Lamar scores 3 runs to win the game. That is the 3rd 1 run game Lamar has won in district play and now improves to 3-0 in district.

Keller had only 1 earned run against a weak hitting team but that is all a great pitcher like Merck needs to win. CONGRATS

Berkner playing well and face a very disappointing Lake Highlands team tonight. LH & Wylie are the biggest surprises in how poor they have started, but at least Wylie has the injury excuse. LH is just playing some bad ball.

Who is Berkner throwing tonight? Assume Busse for LH unless Coach Higgins goes off on his team.

Dont know, my kids have been out of Berkner for a couple of years, I spend my weekends following college ball now...i'll take a guess - the kid who got the save against PESH might start (Hendrix), if not they have two young kids...Spurlin and Hendricks who might get the nod...Berkner would love to beat LH - they have been on the other end of the beatings for quite some time now.
