I heard the groundhog is retiring. Good thing we still have Bill Murray.
Actually, it has been a very, very mild winter so far in Chicagoland.
I wouldn't mind another 6 weeks of this...We've had about 40 days of consecutive "above average" weather temperatures so far.
The only thing I don't want is the 4 feet of snow and then 2 weeks of 20 below temperatures.

Guess we'll have to watch the weather to see who's hog is accurate. Any reports out of General Lee in Georgia?
Wiarton Willie here in Ontario Canada predicts and early spring. We have also had an exceptional above average tempertures this winter. Today is 45F
THE goundhog "Punxatawny Phil", reported 6 weeks of "continued MILD WINTER" - I'd take that

I could live with that-at least we could be assured of an end to it. 
Yea 6 more weeks of winter.Not good...O yea our winters here in lowcountry average 60-70 degrees. LOL

General Lee didn't see his, either. Guess with Phil seeing his shadow and Beauregard not, us in the mid-atlantic will only have four more weeks of winter.

I will echo the sentiments expressed in this thread. It has been unkarmaly warm and mild this winter here in the North. Cleveland has been just like Beenthere described for Chicago.

I must say that pesky rodent that lives just a half hour down the road from me has been completely and utterly overSHADOWED by STEELER MANIA this Feb. 2nd! Phil's day has been superseded by more important events...but most recent reports state that he REALLY saw Black and Gold upon emergence!!

TPM, where'd you hear a prediction of a bad hurricane season? We just booked our rooms for Perfect Game 18U at East Cobb. Can't handle another week like last year. 17" of rain during our stay there last year. We're sure hoping for dry weather the week we'll be there.
Can't speak for Atlanta. Though they get some really wild weather in that area.
