Son is a 2012 grad who has attended a few smaller showcase venues in the past but never a PG Showcase, due to different timing issues.

There is a PG Showcase this June in NJ that we were thinking about attending. The question is, does it make more sense to do a couple of local showcases that will have colleges attending that he is interested in or should he do the PG Showcase for broader exposure?

He will be playing on a summer exposure team that will be playing at many schools he is interested in as well.

No way is it too late! Not sure which showcase your boy is doing, but the Sunshine Northeast one would be a great one to do. Who knows maybe he'll do well enough and be invited to PG Nationals. Either way if he does it , he will be graded and PG will do a scouting report in his profile. Some really good players where at it last year.
