BaseballIsLife7, it is definitely NOT too late to contact college coaches! They are probably quite busy with their own seasons right now; thus, the lack of response. Keep persevering and send your spring schedule to coaches at every school (of every level) that you are remotely interested in. Cast a wide net because you never know who will need or want someone at your position. In May or early June, send your summer schedule. There are many players who get scholarship offers in late spring and even summer, so don't give up!
TRHit,
I didnt feel like i had anything to impress college coaches with my junior year i guess confidence?..i didnt make an effort to put my name out there until this past summer when i packed on size and power. i went to some showcase camps. but other than i havent made much contact until now. which i regret. I know i have the ability to play college ball. i just dont have much of a resume. i only batted .321 last year. this year i am hitting fantastic but i havent got anyone watching.

goldenretriever, i will start a making a video this week. thank you
Contact as many coaches as you can. Your odds are much smaller of getting recruited but a walk on invite is not out of the question. The key is to be seen and it's tough at this late stage. Look on-line for some un-signed senior showcases. Usually only coaches looking for the odd fill in will be there. Also when you contact the coaches ask them what showcases or camps they will be at so you don't waste your time.
Make a video ASAP and send it out with, some stats (if you have any), travel/scout teams you've played for, coach's you've played for who may have some words of reason (not you little league coach). Put in your weight, height, position, GPA and SAT or ACT scores. Good times, such as velocity or 60 time. If you've applied to any of these schools and have been accepted let them know.

But the most important is if you're hoping for something higher than the JUCO level...unless you get a scout out there watching another guy and you catch his eye...no big programs will just take a players word they need to see something that will cause them to be interested. Or if you have a real trustworthy coach of high stature who can put in a good word or has some type of connects that could help too. But if your serious about this get a video together, you don't need a proffessional one...just tape some groundballs, some batting practice, some soft toss and input some game swings. Just get your friend or dad to help you out with it...editing really isn't too difficult.

Best of luck!
