You are right on TR, plus watch the weather be a major factor. Bud Selig could have another face full of egg if old mother nature decides to deliver an early season snow storm to Denver or Cleveland.

Prediction if Cleveland plays Colorado: highest temperature at game time through the entire series-58 degrees

As suggested below, we might see some real frozen ropes at this World Series.

I think that the season becomes too long, and October in the north can become a real problem, though every year they manage to get through it.

Could one get used to the phrases such as "Mr. September", "The Boys of September", "September Playoffs" or "The September Classic".

They need to agree to not have teams sweep! That would make it more interesting and less time in between series.

If they played all 7 games, then it might be a problem setting up their pitching.

No way do we want a neutral site----the home fans deserve the right to be there---baseball isnt like the other sports--the fans support the teams for 162 games not 16 like football---

Why is there an off day in the middle of the ALCS? SO they wouldn't have to pre-empt Kitchen Nightmares?

MLB/Fox should have started the ALCS the same day as the NLCS. If they wanted to avoid a Friday night game they should have bet that a game 7 wouldn't happen in either one.

NCAA banned baseball during cold weather months? Not for us D III guys and gals. Of course, the D III's realize they're kind of an afterthought, and when the NCAA gets involved, it's usually to mess something up, but we open up, on February 12, where 50 degrees will be a balmy day.

Our first month or so of games involves heavy socks, gloves, portable heaters, thermal lined jeans, and checking Accu-weather frequently.
