I have heard this invite is just a huge moneymaker for the host. Just wondering if anyone has had a good experience attending this event? Thanks

Yes my son went to an academic one last fall. It was his first weekend event like this as he is a freshman and I wanted him to get some experience with that type of event. The coach who met with him after day 1 gave him a very honest and thorough evaluation. Day 2 was frigid but most of the coaches seemed to be paying attention to the games. I asked a current head coach about these things and he said the young coaches there have to pay attention or they will not last long in their job. I think we recently had a thread with the same question so you should be able to do a search and get more 2 cents on this.
