I heard on the radio that at one point of the Flowermound and Coppell game three freshman were on the field for Coppell?
Walsh and Kettler have been a part of the team since February. The 3rd freshman may have been a JV call-up. One of our poster's kids?
Out here in Lubbock, we've got two 4A playoff teams with lots of youngsters contributing.
Frenship Sophmore Starters:
Wampler-P, Cannon-P, Swope-3B, Lyons (Clay)-2B, Whaley-CF, Van Gilder-C, Matthews-DH
Estacado Sophomore Starters:
Reyna-3B, Flores-2B, Porras-C, Davila-OF
EHS may have more, I'm not as familiar with them.

Boy ya'll are up late.
Anyone know of a kid named Dameon Craver, and how he is doing? (Seemed like a great kid). Played summer ball in East Texas and Houston. Should be a freshman / sophomore? Looked like he had outstanding potential. Think we had him in the high 80's at 13...
Wow -- high 80's?!?! That would make him unhittable at that age?

Austin Elkins came in at third. The other fish didn't play. I think Elkins is on the Marshals 15.
Kettler played shortstop. He's started most of the games there for us this year. Walsh came in at catcher when Goolsby got hurt.
I want to say 86-89? Nearly unhittable. Their catcher could not catch him. Fortunate for us...
Texan, sorry for the delay in answering. My computer was down. The coach for the Sliders' top 16U team is Matt Gustafson, former head baseball coach at Smithson Valley H.S.
