Does anyone know anything about this group? My son was invited to go to Hawaii in December for a tournament. It cost $3000+ for plane tickets, lodging, and so on.

We recieved a packet from the HS school coach yesterday and he would spend a week in Hawaii and play in about 3 to 4 games against three other teams.

Just wondering if anybody else has attended one of these tournaments hosted by TSUSA and what their thoughts are about it?

Tas - I think that's a huge amount of money to spend. Unless you and family were wanting to go to Hawaii for vacation anyway, I think you can find (and know of already) many other outlets here for B to showcase in that are much more economical. He could do several of those for $3,000. No matter how good they are - tooooooo much money!

I was thinking the same thing. It is too much money and there are better ways to spend that money. They do have fundraising. But you know how that goes.

My daughter just returned from the Tourney Sport USA Hawaii Softball Classic and for all they do and receive the expense is wonderful. Their hotel room was alone $600 a night. It was the most wonderful experience for education and softball. It was a once in a life time chance! It is very well organized and they are extremely strick! The kids have to follow the rules or a ticket will be there to send them home!

Just got back from Hawai'i the other day. If you do it right, you can take your whole family there for $3,000
