my sister is going to truman. It's in a very small town. She says the biggest thing there is the walmart, ha ha. It is a very good school as far as academics go. I've heard it refered to as the Harvard of the midwest, you must have exceptional grades to go there. Their baseball team was not very impressive last year though. I can't recall the record but they were quite a few games uner .500. The head coach their is Dan Davis he is a very nice man I met him at the Missouri winter showcase. Their home site is http://gobulldogs.truman.edu/sports/men/baseball.aspx
Coach Davis and I lived togher in C'dale back in 97,98. He is a good guy and I been try to send some guys his way. I think his 1st yr at Truman was not real good. This past spring I'm not sure about. He emailed one day and said that he is looking for baseball players!! Meaning that he wants kids that WANT to play baseball. He wants guys like Eckstein. Guys who give there all. All the time. One more thing about Truman State is you have to have the grades to go there!! (maybe thats why I didn't)
Good luck Double D and Truman State!!
