3B--COP: Austin Elkins 1.
2B--COP: Jacob Morris 1.
WP--Danny Malone (CP)
LP--Danny Jasinski

Coppell moves to 7-0 in District, 20 - 3 overall.

Elkins had his 8th HR. Good Pitching with some good defense, a solid team effort.
McKinney North------12 13 2
Little Elm------------1 3 5

WP-Lackie
LP-??-#16

HR-Sorrells-6 RBI
2B-Taylor; Yates

The game was supposed to be played at North, but when the coaches were starting to water the infield before the game, our quick coupler malfunctioned and flooded the infield. We had to move the game to Little Elm's field. Game started at 8:45pm!! Crazy!!!!

Garland - 4
N.Garland-3

No surprises in our district other than Sachse beating Rockwall. Didn't expect that.

It is a tight race for the 2nd thru 4th spots. South Garland is better than their record reflects. The loss of Rockwall's Parish sure doesn't help but I think they will pull through. If Sachse starts hitting the ball like they were at the start of the season they could possibly end up taking the 2nd spot. Those are Ringer1's HSO's and I am OUT!

Rowlett 6-0 / 20-0-2
Rockwall 5-2 / 10-7
Garland Lakeview Centennial 5-2 / 7-6
Sachse 4-3 / 10-8
Garland Naaman Forest 3-4 / 5-11-1
South Garland 2-5 / 8-11
Garland 2-5 / 8-11
North Garland 0-6 / 2-8

5-5A is getting interesting for sure.

Your correct KD, No one made it thru the first half undefeated nor will they the second half. IMO. And everyone was sweating each game. It will be fun to watch the second half that's for sure. No easy games on any schedule.

I thought Carroll was 7-0, that is undefeated right? Wink
Although I still think our game with them is 1-1
but that is for another discussion. Big Grin

Just got done stretching...and was about to go to the pin to get ready to pitch. I look up and theres Old Faithful behind the mound. Some crazy stuff!
It's gotta be coaching. Isn't that where the blame always lies? Please don't hang me, I'm only kidding.

We all know Colleyville is loaded with talented players, but so is Grapevine, Carroll, Richland, Haltom, Keller, Central, and Northwest. Maybe it's just a game at a time, pitch at a time, play at a time type of situation.

Any given day...any given team...
