I know this isn't about baseball, but I hope some of our posters will enjoy reading about the "Comeback College", Tulane. My son is there for baseball...hopfully one of those "freshman contributors"! He's loving it! Coaches Jones & Kingston have done an outstanding job, particularly in light of Katrina.
These stories are about Football...actually, they are about perseverence, determination, fortitude, and character.
Hope yall will join me in sending this school & all these athletes some good karma! They deserve it!

Baseballmom,
Thanks!

My son's good friend Warren McFadden plays for Tulane. This summer, son played with some of players up at the cape. Great bunch of kids and very determined to make it all work. We would never wis for our sons to have to endure what they went through. I think it made for a very special group of young men.

There is another parent who posts whose son is a freshman also. Smile
Pres signed last fall, was drafted this summer by Pirates...ultimately came down to $$$'s & Sense! Wink
Tulane is great, academically...The baseball team went to Omaha in 2004...
He's wearing #32, a former 2 way player Bugosovich's (sp) old number...tall order to follow...but I think he'll handle it ok! Can't wait till next spring!
